Beech Lake resides in a quiet corner of our family farm and is just a short stroll away from Swallow and Curlew lodges. Breathe in that fresh country air and admire the amazing views whilst indulging in a spot of fly fishing.

At the edge of the lake sits a rustic fishing lodge, fully equipped with electric heaters, camping chairs, and a camping stove for making hot drinks. This homely hut is ideal for a quick time out or a lovely lunch break spent with the family.
If fishing is not your forte and you prefer to sit back and relax, you are welcome to sit beside the lake with a cup of tea and a good book, whilst watching your family member or friend as they angle the day away.
4) Terrific Trout
The water at Beech Lake is perfectly pure, positively teeming with trout of all shapes and sizes. From 15-inch, 2lb wild brown trout to 1-1/2lb rainbow trout, you are guaranteed to have a great day of fishing in our lake. We charge just £15 per day per rod, or prices can be negotiated if taking fish for the pot.
The lake is surrounded by a rich abundance of wildlife, including damselflies and mayflies. We take great care and attention to ensure that the lake is a natural, beautiful setting; providing not only a fun day of sport for anglers, but also a healthy and sustainable environment for trout to thrive.
5) End the Day with a Sunset Drink & BBQ
